Take the Tree for a Walk

Trees grew at a place, until they’ve been cut off and transported to somewhere else. They’ve never had a chance to see the world, or visit friends or family. I have a branch of gumtree in hand, a native Australian tree living on the land longer than we know. I walked around in the suburb looking for other gumtrees along my way and then stopped, waving this tiny branch of gumtree at the big gumtree.
